Family:

My wife Karina and I moved from southwest Missouri to found SWFF in 2003. My wife and I are known as Jade’s dad or D.C.’s mom. I work in Legal and Corporate Services for an Austin-based tech company. 

What I do at church:

I do background support, play the drums and drop in wherever is needed.

Education:

I have a BA in Biblical Literature from Ozark Bible Institute.

How I Got Here:

While in seminary, in Springfield, MO, I met Anthony (our lead pastor) and loved the vision he shared of a church where you belong before you believe. We were part of the nine initial families who moved to Austin help get the church off the ground.

Favorite Sports Team:

San Diego Padres.

Favorite Toy growing up:

Hot-wheels cars. Anything automotive. Once you get to know me, you’ll see this is still a passion of mine.

Favorite Bible Story:

I love the whole story of Timothy and his relationship with Paul.
