The summer is flying by and it’s time to start thinking about our annual Back to School Bash! Every year, SWFF provides new shoes, socks, and other supplies inside a backpack for over 100 children in our community by partnering with Travis County Community Center. These are children whose families need help as they prepare for the new school year.
Help us this year by sponsoring a child! We need you to shop for and organize the backpacks and supplies for each child. Dedicate an hour of your week to make a difference in a child’s entire school year! Grab a tag on the stand in the lobby.
Won’t be here this weekend to get a tag, email us and we’ll send you a child’s information! Unable to shop? You can make a donation to cover the cost of a backpack and we’ll do the work! Donate here!
All backpacks and clothing need to be returned to SWFF by August 2!
The Back to School Bash event will take place at Southwest Family Fellowship on Friday, August 11 from 4:30-6:30pm. If you want to help make a difference the day-of, email us to volunteer!
