Many of us, as children, were taught stories from the Bible, but we were not taught the story of the Bible. Consequently, in an age of skepticism and readily available criticism of the Bible through the internet, many people are abandoning faith because of an approach to the Bible - and especially the Old Testament - that is ill informed and overly simplistic. How do we relate to ancient scrolls in the computer age? How do we reconcile the seeming differences between the Old and New Testaments? How do we answer the ethical and historical challenges to the texts of faith? We will tackle these pertinent and challenging topics in the new series, "A Tale of Two Testaments?".
