The Bible and the Blanton

Christians have a compelling story to tell of God's sacrificial dealings with the human race and for centuries they have told it through the medium of art. In Austin we happen to be blessed with a premier collection of diverse art made accessible to our community through The Blanton Museum of Art. For six Sundays starting October 18, Southwest Family Fellowship will focus on a different painting from the collection to explore it's contribution both to the world of art and the world of spiritual formation and theology. We invite you to join us as we discover God in a new – and ancient – way.
