If someone asks you, "Is this expensive?" Your response would likely be, "It depends on what it is." If the object was a stick of gum and the expense was $50 then you’d probably say, "Yes, that gum is expensive." If the object was an iPad and the expense was also $50 then you’d probably say, "No, that iPad is not expensive." Why? The stick of gum isn’t worth the expense, but the iPad is. This week we’re continuing our summer series as we look at the parable of The Hidden Treasure and the Pearl. We’ll explore the value of the kingdom of God and the joy of finding it.
